2013 Class Information

Happy 2013 from Sally and Amy! We want to update you on our plans for classes for 2013.

 

Class #1 - The Yearly:  2013 February 16, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Saturday Scrapbook Daisies

We will again be offering a 3 part album class with monthly spreads for 2013. We will be titling this class The Yearly: 2013 Our first class will be February 16 and the class will include: *Title Page *January 2 page spread *January mid-page with space for 4x6 photos/journaling cards and 3x4 photos/journaling cards (it will be a page protector divided like the Project Life page protectors) *February 2 page spread *February mid-page spread like the January one *March 2 page spread *March mid-page just like the previous ones *April 2 page spread *April mid-page spread like the previous ones The product included in this first class is unreal. You will receive: One 12x12 D ring chestnut brown faux leather American Crafts album to hold all your pages for The Yearly class 13 12x12 page protectors 12 divided page protectors to hold additional photos and journaling for each month. Simple Stories Snap Life Full Collection pack for the January and April spreads Simple Stories Snappy Thoughts 3x4 journaling cards A selection of Crate Paper Fourteen papers and embellishments for the February and March spreads Journaling cards, stamped elements, die cuts, bling and more! The total retail value on the first kit is over $70, but we're only charging $49.  (The 2 remaining kits will be $38 each - for a total of $125 for the whole series.) At the time of the first class, we'll ask you to fill out a sign up sheet providing us either a phone number or email address so we can make certain everyone gets all 3 parts of this series.   I'll update you as soon as we have the sample in the store.

 

Class #2 - Life Right Now March 30, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Saturday Scrapbook Daisies

In addition to our 12x12 album classes we will be teaching our mini album classes. March 30th we will teach a mini album class titled "Life Right Now". The album will house all the aspects of your life right now. It is a fabulous album produced by Pink Paislee - a 6x9 binder that includes 12 page protectors, pages and room for lots of photos and journaling.  If you prefer to use the album for a different theme it will certainly work. This album has a TON of product included. First Ever - Kit only Class Kit #2 - The Yearly:  2013 May, 2013

Our second class for The Yearly: 2013 will be a kit only to allow us to teach classes other than The Yearly class. This class will include the spreads for May, June, July and August along with the mid-pages spreads for each month. We should have this kit ready in May.  We will contact you (via the phone number or email address you leave us for the first class) when it it available and you will purchase it from Scrapbook Daisies. The cost of this kit is $38.

 

Class #3 - The Yearly:  2013 September 21, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Saturday Scrapbook Daisies

Our third class of The Yearly: 2013 will be held September 23rd and include the spreads for September, October, November and December along with a closing page.  Each month will include the same layout as specified for class #1. The cost of this class is $38.

 

Class #4 - Christmas  November 23, 2013 - 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Saturday Scrapbook Daisies

We will also be creating our yearly Christmas mini album with the class held November 23rd so it will be ready for all your holiday photos and journaling.    We know our Christmas class for 2012 sold out quickly so we'll create more kits for 2013.

Hello lucky 2013

Happy New Year Everyone!  I hope y'all had a wonderful holiday season.  We sure did - spent Thanksgiving in CO, then an early Christmas with my dad and siblings and their families in TX, and then Christmas here with my mom, aunt and cousins.  It was wonderful!

But now it's time to get back down to business.  CHA is just around the corner so we have reduced the price of our past class kits to our cost or lower in most cases to make room for new product.  If you're interested head over to the storefront - Dare You Say It.  If you are local to the Long Beach, CA area I can arrange to meet you and save you the shipping costs.

I also have one of the Moments Captured class set remaining.  The cost of this is $88 for the 3 part series.  This series consists of 2 - 12x12 layouts and 1 - 6x12 page for additional journaling and photos for each month, and opening and closing pages (both of these are 12x12).  It includes an American Crafts faux leather D ring binder with all the necessary page protectors.  We created it for 2012 so you can either use it to summarize your past year or use it for this year.  If you are interested in this kit, please email me.  Since there is only one of these, it will sold to the first person that emails me and wants it.

I also have the Technique Tuesday stamp sets for Studio Ali available that aren't listed on the storefront.  The cost is $14 and the shipping on these is $1.75.  I have one each of the following so again it will be sold to the first person that emails me.

Latest News

Amy & I held the 3rd and final class of the Moments Captured series Saturday at Scrapbook Daisies.  We created September, October, November, December and a closing page.  It sure feels great to have an album for the entire year.  Now all I have to do is get caught up and add my photos and journaling through August.   If you began this series with us, or purchased the first 2 kits and missed the class, no worries.  You can call Tony to purchase it at Scrapbook Daisies - 562-377-0302.

Our Final Class of the Year

Christmas

We've planned our last class of the year at Scrapbook Daisies as our Christmas album.  We will be using the Handmade Holiday line from Simple Stories.  And the album we will use is their new Snap album in red.  We hope you love this line as much as we do.

 

 

The date of the class is Saturday, November 10th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  The cost will be $38. 

 
If the summer album is any indication of sales, you should call and sign up as soon as possible since it will probably sell out.  There is no sample in the store yet, as we are waiting on the albums to be shipped, but those of you that have taken classes from us in the past know Amy's style by now.  We'll try to get the sample to the store by the end of October (providing we get the albums in a timely manner).

Hello Summer 2012 - updated

It's official - summer is here.  And Amy & I wanted to update you on our next class.  We will be teaching at Scrapbook Daisies in Long Beach on July 28 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  The sample is already at the store, so stop by and give it a peek.  The cost is $38.

Say hello to the summer of 2012 and celebrate with this 6x8 binder from Simple Stories.  There is room for over 6 -3x4,3 -4x4, 22 -4x6, 3 -5x7, and 6 -6x8 photos in this album.  That's 40 photos.  There are page protectors left so you can always add more if you like.  The mixed page protectors give you plenty of room for photos and embellishments of various sizes and we've included lots of cute die-cuts to help fill them as well.

Adhesive (tape runner and wet glue)

Glossy Accents (holds the buttons the best)

White paper or cardstock to make photo mats with for ease of assembly - there are 2 -4x6 and 3 -5x7 mats that you should bring with you to class

As with all our kits, the pages and embellishments have been pre-cut, stamped, and then organized in the order they will be used in the album (for ease in assembly) so be careful when removing them from the packaging.  And they include both photos and written instructions.

WHAT???? No photos?

We had the best group of ladies in our Celebrate Spring 2012 class today.  They were amazing!!!  Amy brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts and I brought mini sized spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting so we had plenty of sugar to keep us going.  But did I think to take any photos???  Oops.

So how about a picture of a cute pooch to make up for it?  LOL
