Our 1st Class of 2014! Can you believe the first month of 2014 has almost come to an end?  We're not sure exactly where the time has gone. We'll be teaching our first class of the year at a new location - Custom Impressions Scrapbooking.  For those of you that have not yet visited this store, you will be amazed at the size of their crop / class rooms.  The cost of part 1 is $49.  This class includes your album and page protectors, along with the opening page, January, February, March and April pages.  I'll let you know as soon as we have the sample in the store for your viewing pleasure. I have some of Ali Edward's monthly Studio Ali stamp sets for sale.  They retail for $19.99, but I am selling them for $14 plus shipping/handling (and tax if you live in CA) of $1.75.  If you purchase more than one stamp set, the shipping will be reduced.  I can give you the reduced shipping cost after you notify me how many of the sets you want.  If you live close to Long Beach, CA, you can save the shipping costs by picking them up.  I only have 1 of each of the following so if you are interested, email me ASAP (sallybasiliere@dareyousayit.com) as it will be first come, first served.  I will then send you a paypal invoice.

Happy 2014

We will be continuing on with our "The Yearly: 2014" monthly album series.  Just like last year there will be two classes to attend and one kit in order to complete your full album. We will have the same set up as last year with the 12x12 pages and 6x12 inserts for additional journaling and photos. As always we are packing our kits full to the brim, all while keeping it as affordable as possible. (The first class will be $49, the second kit only will be $38 and the last class will be $38.)  We want everyone to have the opportunity to document their memories for 2014!  We are securing a date for the first class, but the kit will include the full "Daily Grind" collection kit along with the coordinating Basic kit, the Bella Blvd "Snapshots" kit and fun stamping and embellishments.  As always our class kits will be pre-cut and in order of assembly to make creating easy and fun. They will include both the written and photo instructions and packed full of goodness.  The first kit will include the album and page protectors (as before) so you will be able to put your completed pages in immediately. In addition, we will be teaching a travel album which includes one of the new Simple Stories burlap albums, the full Jillibean Soup Sightseeing Stew Collection, pocket page protectors, stamping, and so much more!  As always we also plan on creating a wonderful Christmas Album to hold all of your Christmas memories.  We hope to see you in class in 2014 and we will update you with class dates as soon as we have them secure.

Upcoming Classes

Dare You Say It News It's hard to believe that summer is almost over.  We hope you have enjoyed it.  Here's a quick update on the status of our next classes.

The Yearly:  2013 - Part 3 Saturday, September 21st - 10 AM - 1 PM Scrapbook Daisies Join us for the final class in this year's series.  We will be creating 2 page spreads for September, October, November and December; along with a closing page.  There will be a 6x12 insert page for each month as well. We'll be using the Beautiful Life collection pack from Echo Park, along with some of the pages from the Simple Stores December Documented line.   Cost is $38. We'll provide some sneak peeks and more information as we get closer to the date of the class.                                         Christmas 2013 Saturday, November 23rd - 10 AM - 1 PM Scrapbook Daisies                                      For our Christmas album this year, we will be using the Simple Stories December Documented line with their red 6x8 leather album.  As we get closer to the class date, we'll send out an email with more information and some sneak peeks.       Cost $42

The Yearly: 2013 - Part 2

I dropped off Part 2 of The Yearly: 2013 at Scrapbook Daisies this afternoon.  I would have dropped it off sooner, but my neighbor behind me did some landscaping and his / her new sprinker system created a flood in my scrapbook room so I had to spend time taking everything against that one wall out so I could mop up the mess.  Now I just have to wait until the people leasing the building come in tomorrow so I can find out who the owners are and contact them.  Then I can put my room back together again once I'm sure it won't happen again.  What a mess!!!

Anyway, without further ado, here's a couple of the pages from Part 2:

 

As with all our kits, there are both photo and written instructions for this kit.  Everything is pre-cut and packaged individually by month for you.  All your extra pieces are in the bigger bag in the back.  There is also a free 6x6 paper pad for you from Simple Stories.  Those guys are the best ever.  I have my copy at Scrapbook Daisies so you can view the pages and / or use it when assembling yours there at the store.

Class Postponed

Welcome Springtime!!!!!   Life Right Now Class that was scheduled for March 30th at Scrapbook Daisies has been postponed Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to postpone this class. Once we get a new date lined up we will be sure to let you know. I know that you will love it. I've attached a photo of the products we will be using to give you a preview of what is to come.        Kits available for The Yearly: 2013 - Part 1 We have a few of the 1st part of our 3 part yearly class kits remaining.  You can contact me directly via email (sallybasiliere@dareyoursayit.com) or ask Tony for them at Scrapbook Daisies. Part 2 will be a kit only and will be available in May. Part 3 will be taught as a class in September. As always with our kits, there are both photo and written instructions and everything is pre-cut and arranged in order by month. That is less than $10 per month since you're getting an opening and closing page - and a 12x12 album. This is the first of a 3 part album class with monthly spreads for 2013.
